Our predictions for Black Friday 2026
1. More fashion brands will do their Black Friday sales in early-mid November
The Black Friday period (27 Nov - 30 Dec) is incredibly competitive for brands all vying for attention at the same time. Which has led to brands starting their Black Friday sales earlier and earlier. We think more brands will do their sales in early to mid-November - which is why our Black Friday Fashion Sales Cheat Sheet comes out on November 9th.
2. Fashion Brands will stagger their sales throughout the month
Instead of doing one Black Friday offer for a set period, we're predicting more brands will stagger their sales throughout the month starting with the lowest value offer (e.g. an extra 20% off sale) and ending with a store wide offer later in the month.
3. Some fashion brands will return to the official Black Friday dates only
Over the last few years, most brands have extended their sale period to 2-4 weeks. But in an increasingly tight economy, the tiny margins for such a long period might not be worth it. We think some brands, particular smaller fashion brands, will shrink their sale period back down to just the Black Friday 4 day window.

Officially Black Friday Cyber Monday will take place from Fri 27 Nov - Mon 30 Dec, 2026. However, in recent years brands have been starting their sales as early as October.
Which Australian fashion brands have Black Friday sales?
In Australia most of the major retail fashion brands will have Black Friday sales including Aje, Alias Mae, DISSH, Decjuba, Nude Lucy, Cotton On, Kookai, Glassons, Novo Shoes, Seed, Tony Bianco, Sheike, Target and Witchery. Online fashion brands like The Iconic, Lioness, Meshki, Peppermayo, Princess Polly, Revolve, White Fox and ASOS do a lot of Black Friday sales throughout the month. Most smaller independent fashion brands will also have Black Friday sales such as Henne, Crop Shop Boutique, Benni, JGR & STN, Mode Mischief, Monday Swimwear, Kat The Label and Francesca Jewellery.
